Description of Services:

Fellner Architects is involved with new projects as well as adaptive re-use, renovation, preservation, rehabilitation, restoration, and expansion. FA’s experience in historically sensitive projects is demonstrated by a responsive, integrative approach encompassing program, codes, sustainability, innovation, and cost. Services include existing condition surveys, feasibility and adaptive re-use studies, documentation required by the Connecticut State Historic Preservation Office, as well as complete architectural services.

Every project undertaken by the FA staff is implemented by a collaborative design process that considers the historical architectural context. The identification of elements, details, materials, and cultural factors are integratively considered as part of analysis. In turn, client needs are addressed with a clear methodology, resulting in architectural solutions that respect historical integrity, and enhance a site’s significance. Furthermore, FA’s team of consultants is available to assist on specific project needs. George Fellner, AIA, is a certified Historic Architect with the Connecticut State Historic Preservation Office.
